Adidas ZX Flux Online

The Men’s/Women’s Adidas ZX Flux “Core Black” continues the Trefoil brand’s monumental year with a simple yet refined silhouette that is truly inspired for running. Calling on inspiration from the Yeezy line as well as hints of Y-3 influence, the adidas ZX Flux Plus includes a unique cut around the ankle with a soft neoprene construction and classic three striped branding on the heel.

What happens when the adidas ZX Flux and a Y-3 sneaker have a love child? This stylish new edition of the Adidas ZX Flux Shoes, dubbed the ZX Flux Plus. With a dash of Yeezy influence, as well, the usually simple ZX Flux gets an overhaul with added straps and a combination of mesh and neoprene for its upper. The result is a new take on the ZX Flux with a heavy lean towards the Y-3 aesthetic.

adidas Originals has showcased a ton of awesome ideas in the past calendar year, but perhaps the climax of all the non-Yeezy hype was this Adidas ZX Flux Outlet. The shoe turned heads at the NBA’s All-Star Weekend celebration in February, and the shoe had absolutely nothing to do with basketball. The snakeskin-like upper championed a reflective 3M construction that was iridescent in nature, so when light hit the silhouette, an array of rainbow shades transformed the shoe into one of the brightest creations of the year. Initially debuting in a simple dark grey, today we see the XENO technology’s surprising return in an all-black-everything aesthetic. If you missed out on the initial pairs, now’s your chance to make up for it.

While free of any direct nods to Spring like the ZX 8000 Hanami Pack, the latest from Torsion-backed model is clad in a shade of green fit for the warmer months. Adidas ZX Flux Online Uppers keep their standard mesh and nubuck construction, forgoing any of the ripstop found on pairs co-created by adidas Skateboarding and Metropolitan. Profile 3-Stripes, branding on the tongue, collar lining and reflective accents on the heel are the most prominent interruptions to the “Collegiate Green” arrangement. “TORSION” branded lace dubraes feature their standard neon hue, albeit faint, unlike its counterpart underfoot.

At a glance, the newest option of the Boost-cushioned, Torsion-stabilized model isn’t too dissimilar from others in the Adidas ZX Flux Sale line. Akin to a recent ZX 8000 co-created by adidas Skateboarding and Metropolitan, mixed synthetic and textile uppers are clad in black. White stitching on the ZX Torsion, however, interrupt the tonal scheme à la Yeezy 350 v2 Oreo. Lateral 3-Stripes divvy up green, yellow and blue trims – details that also adorn the heel. “TORSION” branded lace dubraes and tooling across both the midsole and outsole slightly partake in the Olympic symbols-palette, but pale in their nod to the event when compared to the torch graphic on the tongue label.
